Life at Camp Homer

So this last week has been such a roller coaster.  I am missing my little girl soooo much!! She is with her daddy until July 14 and I am lost without her!  But I did get to bring my other little girl, Kalynn home with me.  She has kept me from going nuts! Christopher is staying with his dad for awhile to get some doctor and dentist appointments taken care of.   My adopted girls all abandoned me!! Adriana went to visit her family for the holiday, and Kimmie moved to St George!  And Paige went home to Toole, to work for the summer and while she was there she decided to stay!  Krista is too busy with math to come visit so she is only around randomly!  Kristen and Charlie spend a lot of time in Hurricane, because Charlie got a job in St. George, so they aren't around much anymore either.   Nicholas got a job and he works nights so I have to take him to work at 10:45pm and then pick him up the next morning at 7:30am.  I will be so glad when he gets his license!  As for me, I spend a lot of time sewing, writing in my journal, and reading my scriptures. I keep in contact with my missionary, Jordan who is in Knoxville, Tennesee and he is doing soooo great!  My son Jamey is in New York and he is being a wonderful father to my beautiful granddaughters, Eliana and Evangelina!  And last but not least, my son Jeremy lives in Vegas and works at Sams Club.  He is a wonderful son and I miss him so much that sometimes, if I let myself think too much, I cry like a baby!  I am blessed with such amazing children, adopted children and friends that I feel like the luckiest Momma in the world!  And I won't even go into my family members who are so supportive, and my best friends.  I am also missing my sweetheart.  He is taking some time to do some serious soul searching, and getting his life in order and because I love him so much, I am stepping back to give him the time he needs to accomplish this.  I feel like there is a hole in me, but I know that with faith, and patience we will be much happier and have a healthier relationship!  Of course, that is all according to the Lord's will.  I love all of you!  Take care!

Money stinks!!

Hello Everyone.....So still working like a dog to find a way to make money so I can pay my bills.  Still driving with a cracked windshield.   Still trying to get over a broken heart.  :(  We are talking, but things are still so complicated.....I don't know if we will be able to work it out or not.  I'm so sad today and I miss him sooooo much.  I want to say he is an #*@*& but I don't really feel that way.  I'm mad at him but at the same time I love him sooooooo much and I just can't imagine how I will live without him if it comes to that.  I'm going to scrape together all my coins and drive to Vegas tomorrow, so that Desi can spend 2 weeks with her dad, and I can take my sweet adopted daughter Taylor to the airport so she can go back to Colorado.  :(  But on the up side!!  NICK GOT A JOB!!!!!  So that should help the financial situation out alot!  I have applied at Convergys again....Bah Humbug! But ya gotta do what ya gotta do.  So, Happy 4th of July to all of you that I love and adore!!

Day from Hell!

Today has been a day from hell. It all started when my hot headed son thought it would be a good idea to punch my windshield and crack it, after hitting his head. The insurance company told me there was a $100 deductable to fix that and well, I do not have that kind of money cause I am out of work until school starts again. Then to add to that I have been dealing with grumpy and demanding kids all day, which obviously has not helped my day.
But despite all of that I did go to a movie with Desi, we saw Mr. Poppers Penguins which was really cute. Chris and Nick thought they were too good for that movie (lol) and went and saw Green Lantern, which they said was awesome! Then I went and picked up my friend Adriana and we ran to Wal-mart and did a little bit of retail therapy, and came back and watched a movie and ate burnt popcorn thanks to Nick (ha, ha).
Well I am done complaining about my day, until I write again...

Fireworks, School, and Scholarships

Tonight there were some amazing fireworks here in little old Cedar City for the Summer Games. You could see them from my house! So Nick and Adriana (my favorite adopted daughter) and Desi went to the road that is in front of my house, and watched them. It was too dang cold out there for me, so I said forget it!
Life has been pretty stressful financially, so I have been busting my butt applying for scholarships to help out with school and other necessities. I am so sick of applying for these dumb things, but I figured they are worth a shot.
School is going great! I currently have a 4.0 and I made the President's List!! I am so cool! I am considering teaching abroad for my first couple of years somewhere in Europe so we will see how I feel about that! I picked up mine and Desi's applications for our passports and did some research on what countries hire educators from the United States. It will be at least a year before I can go, but I am looking into it!
That is all for tonight folks, I need help with this blogging business but Adriana is awesome!
